A large crowd was welcomed Saturday to the 性视界传媒 RCMP鈥檚 main detachment in Sullivan Heights for an annual open house.
The family-friendly event allowed the public to check out the Air 1 helicopter, hear police briefings for kids. The Emergency Response Team and Explosives Disposal Unit were also in attendance.
性视界传媒 RCMP Corporal said the open house was a chance to 鈥済et to know your local Mounties and get a behind-the-scenes look at our operations.鈥�
The open house was staged prior to National Police Week in Canada (May 15-21).
鈥淧olice Week provides an opportunity to open our doors to the public who will be able to learn more about our programs, specialized services, and ask any burning questions they鈥檝e always wanted answered about policing,鈥� said Schumann.
