When asked why she waited, the 29-year-old Luddu-Sidhu said, 鈥淢y husband and I first had to start shopping for a new house.鈥�
The winning ticket was purchased at the Guildford Town Centre lottery retailer.
The experience of telling her husband about her $1-million MAXMILLIONS win is something Luddu-Sidhu will never forget.
鈥淚 called my husband at work as soon as I heard the music start playing on the check-a-ticket machine,鈥� she said. 鈥淗e didn鈥檛 believe me and told me he had to go and would call me back later.鈥�
In addition to new house plans, Luddu-Sidhu says she and her husband will most likely enjoy some of the money and then invest the rest.
