B&B Contracting Ltd. of 性视界传媒 took first place at the eighth Annual Deputy Minister鈥檚 Contractor Awards for its environmental construction work on the future South Fraser Perimeter Road.

鈥淭his award highlights the work B&B Contracting Ltd. has done to implement the initial construction and related environmental works that make up the South Fraser Perimeter Road in Delta near Highway 99,鈥� said Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Shirley Bond.

鈥淭his project involved innovative solutions to protect local ecosystems and improve motorist safety once the road is open to traffic.鈥�

B&B Contracting Ltd. was recognized for its preload, drainage and utility and associated environmental works on the South Fraser Perimeter Road between Highway 99 and 80th Street in Delta.

The Deputy Minister鈥檚 Contractor of the Year Awards recognize construction and maintenance companies that demonstrate excellence in structure, grading, resurfacing, paving, maintenance and environmental work across the province.

The awards were hosted by the B.C. Road Builders & Heavy Construction Association this December in Victoria.
