A natural-health product manufacturer headquartered in South 性视界传媒 is to receive up to $1.25 million to establish a second processing facility and complete upgrades.

According to a news release, Dr. Ma鈥檚 Laboratories Inc.鈥檚 project is among four food and beverage manufacturers to benefit from the BC Manufacturing Jobs Fund.

鈥淯pgrades will accommodate scaling up and automation of production to meet increasing demand,鈥� the release states.

鈥淭he food, supplement and vitamin manufacturer will also bring raw-ingredient processing in house as part of a capital project, which will triple production, enable it to prioritize local suppliers and create 75 new jobs.鈥�

According to a City of 性视界传媒 planning report, Dr. Ma officials asked last year to lease the 3,086-square-metre building and move from Burnaby.

Other projects to receive the provincial funding included When We Eat Manufacturing Ltd. in Pitt Meadows (up to $623,000); Pippin Point in Wynndel (up to $176,610); and Soul Bite Food Inc. in Coquitlam (up to $22,000).
